Biography
The son of Adam Wagner Jr and Martha (Ritter) Wagner, Isaac Wagner was born in Union County, Pennsylvania[citation needed] in 1831, residing with his family in 1850 in West Beaver Township.[1]
He married Catherine Swinehart (1831-1902), the daughter of Johann Swinehart and Elizabeth Kern, marrying in Snyder Township, Pennsylvania on August 31, 1851[2] and having eight known children together:
- Howard Wagner (1852-1853)
- Henry Benneville Wagner (1855-1917)
- Michael Wagner (1857-)
- Barbara Ellen Wagner (1858-1913)
- Charles Franklin Wagner (1860-1911)
- Lawrence Edward Wagner (1863-1928)
- Lucy A. Wagner (1869-1879)
They made their home in Beaver Township, Pennsylvania, farming.[3][4][5][6]
Made a widower in 1902, Isaac Wagner passed away in Beaver Township[7] at the age of 73.
