Hulda Wager was born on 24 November 1909 in Lincoln Valley, Sheridan County, North Dakota to Jacob Wagner and Regina Redinger.

She married Adolph Hensel on December 5, 1926, North of New Leipzig, Grant County, North Dakota, USA.

In 1930, Hulda and Adolph are living with Adolph's parents in Township 136, Grant, North Dakota, United States. Their son Walter is 2 years old and living with them.[1]

In 1940, Hulda and Adolph were living with their children in Township 136, Grant, North Dakota, United States.[2]

Hulda Hensel died on 8 May 1968 in Stark County, North Dakota. She is buried at the Congregational Cemetery, New Leipzig, Grant County, North Dakota, USA.[3]

Obituary

Hulda (Wagner) Hensel 1909 - 1968 Mrs. Hulda Hensel, 58, New Leipzig, died in Dickinson Wednesday May 8. She had been in poor health for many years and hospitalized for the last 13 days. Mrs. Hensel was born Nov. 24, 1909 at Lincoln Valley in Sheridan County. She married Adolph Hensel at New Leipzig in 1926. She was a member of the Congregational Church in addition to her husband. Mrs. Hensel leaves four sons, Walter, Bismarck; Living; Reuben, Minneapolis, Minn. and Living.; four brothers, Ludwig Wagner, Hamiltion, Mont.; Henry Wagner, Walla Walla, Wash.; Benny Wagner Yakima, Wash. and Alvin Wagner, Boise, Idaho; six sisters, Mrs. Fred (Pauline) Perran, Missoula, Mont.; Mrs. Sam (Lydia) Roehl, Apache Junction, Ariz.; Mrs. Christ (Katie) Moos, Hebron; Mrs. William (Rosalie) Roehl Toppenish, Wash.; Mrs. John (Helen) Roehl New Leipzig and Mrs. William (Edna) Friesz, Missoula, Mont.; two half brothers, Rev. Daniel Roehl, Grand Rapids, Mich. and Fred Roehl, Missoula, Mont.; six step- brothers, four step sisters and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday, May 11 at the Congregational Church in New Leipzig. The Rev. M. H. Gosz officiated.

Pallbearers were Jake Zimmerman, Jake Hintz, Ted Zimmerman, John Verworn, Rudy Schroeder and John Seidler. Burial was in the church cemetery.
