As the Registrar for the Beaver Chapter of DAR in Oregon, I became very interested in how varied the individuals were that served in our Revolution.
This was my husband's family but I was given a wonderful family record prepared by the Van Driel family in the 1930's to begin my research into the Brugman family.
DNA proved my husband's grandfather was born Crowley before he changed his name to Crowell
Also Hendron - Great grandmother Margaret Hadessa Whitsitt Hendron changed the spelling.
My family that I obtained DAR certification with.
