Justin was born in 1897 at St Mary's, New South Wales, Australia. He was the eldest son of Thomas Wainwright and Mary Erwin.[1]
He served in the Australian Imperial Force during the Great War; enlisted 6th March 1916, returned to Australia 19th June 1919.[2] He was a member of the 20th Australian Infantry Bn.[3]
He married Jessie Granger in 1932 in Redfern, New South Wales.[4]
He passed away in 1961 at Sydney, New South Wales.[5]
