FMG says: " GEOFFREY Wake (-before 1168). "…Gaufridus Wac…" witnessed the charter dated to [1135/47] under which "Herbertum Piscem" settled a dispute with the church of Bayeux[971]. m ---. The name of Geoffrey’s wife is not known. Geoffrey & his wife had [four] children: a) HUGH Wake ([before 1130]-[1175/76]). b) [ROGER Wake (-after 1172). c) [GEOFFREY Wake (-after [Oct 1174/1182]). d) [RICHARD Wake (-after [Oct 1174/1182]). B-D are assumed to be children based on an unsourced report in the Gallia Christiana, so make of that what you will. Hope this helps you clean up your adopted profile a bit, Isaac.

I adopted this orphan.

Obvious problems:

0. No sources.

1. Normandy, Bedford, France is nonsensical

2. Channel Islands is anachronistic. Guernsey belongs to Normandy in this era. But what top-level domain ought Normandy have (ie France or England) or can it stand alone.

3. Bessin?

4. French vs Anglo family names, which did this family use at this time?
