Biography

Peter was born on 28 February 1767 in Sutton, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He was the son of Jonathan Wakefield II (1736-1776) and Anne (Wheeler) Wakefield (abt.1741-1829).[1][2]

Founded Methodist Church in Newport; [3]

Peter married Hannah Haven, sister of William Haven.

In the 1850 census Peter (age 83) was in Newport, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States.[4]
