"Here follows a division of ye estate of Joseph Waklee late of Stratford Decd: made by us whose names are under written heirs of ye sd estate all of lawful age made by agreement in manner following viz

To Sam Waklee eldest son of ye decd as his part the house & barn and all of ye land contained in ye homstead also one piece of land above Elnathan Shermans containin five acres also a two yr old steer and 1 gun

To Zebulon Waklee as his part all ye land contained in a homstead where he lives

To Sarah wife of John Truesdell of Norwalk ye land called ye pasture containing thirteen acres bounded northerly on land belonging to Nathan Seelye westerly on Elnathan Shermans land easterly on a highway and southerly on sd Shermans land

The above agreement was made by us in Stratford this 16th day of April AD 1760^[2]
