WALD JACK WALD On Thursday, April 23, 2009, JACK WALD of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Shirley Cohen Wald and the late Fannie Wald; loving father of Janice (Gary) Blum, Helene (Eliot) Roseheim, Fran (Steven) Kaplan and Joyce (Ronnie) Scher; dear brother of Evelyn Mogin; cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of six. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2009, 1 p.m. at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church, VA. Shiva will be observed at Turnberry Court, Building 1 Party Room, 2904 N. Leisure World Blvd., Silver Spring, MD through Tuesday with services at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Har Tzeon-Agudath Achim, 1840 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD 20902 or to Bnai Shalom of Olney, 18401 Burtfield Dr., Olney, MD 20832. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Coucil of Washington).
