Biography

She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral William Waldegrave, 8th Earl Waldegrave and Elizabeth Whitbread.^[1] She married Roundell Palmer, 1st Earl of Selborne, son of the Reverend William Jocelyn Palmer and Dorothea Richardson Roundell, on the 2nd of February 1848.^[1] They were married at Marylebone, London, England.^[2] She died on the 10th of April 1885,^[1] at the age of 63, citing Death, Marylebone, London, England.^[3]

"She married Roundell Palmer, 1st Earl of Selborne, son of Reverend William Jocelyn Palmer and Dorothea Richardson Roundell, on 2 February 1848.

"She died on 10 April 1885.

"Her married name became Palmer. After her marriage, Lady Laura Waldegrave was styled as Baroness Selborne of Selborne on 23 October 1872. After her marriage, Lady Laura Waldegrave was styled as Countess of Selborne on 30 December 1882."
