Biography

Eliza Waldo was born about 1815.^[1][2]

She married Michael Pfouts on September 21, 1831 in Trumbull County, Ohio.^[3] She was 16 at that time and he was 18. Because both bride and groom were underage at the time of marriage, certificates from Michael's family and from Eliza's guardian were presented to allow their marriage. ^[4]

It is likely that Eliza Fouts listed in the 1850 census(born about 1833) is their daughter.^[5]

This Eliza probably died before Michael married his next wife in 1835.^[6]
