Biography

Keziah was born in 1798. Keziah Walker ... She passed away about 1875. [1]

Handwritten notes of Folks Huxford references date of birth as 1790.

Named as a child of Littleberry Walker in Deed of Gift to his children: SUSANNAH, MARY, KESIAH, DRUSILLA, LITTLEBERRY, ISHAM, ELIAS and JEREMIAH, executed 9/21/1807. According to the Deed of Gift, Littleberry states the reason for his gift to his children, other than for love and affection, is that he is "NOW MARRING," but he does not name his wife.

In 1830, Littleberry "Sr." prepared another deed to subsequent children: ANSELL, DAVID, ANDREW, ELISHA, WESTBERRY and ELIZABETH, which notes he was living in Ware County, GA and mentions his wife Elizabeth. The deed was executed on 9/18/1830 in Wayne county, GA and recorded in that county the same day. Therefore it is likely that Elizabeth Johns was Littleberrys second wife, and therefore the stepmother of Susannah.

Kesiah Walker was married twice, 1st to John Jacobs on 4/27/1815, and she married 2d after the death of her 1st husband, Samuel Morgan on 8/18/1824 in Wayne County, GA.
