Biography
When Rebecca Washington Walker was born in June 1837 in Natchitoches, Louisiana, her father, Jesse, was 26, and her mother, Cynthia, was 26. She married Jesse Austin Moore on January 5, 1854 in Grimes County, Texas[1] and they had three children together:
Argent "Argetta" Johanna (1856–1945), married Thomas J. Garrett
Mary Jane (1858–1930), married George G. Reeves
James Walker (1860–1927)
She then married William Joseph Green Johnson[2] in July 1871 in Limestone, Texas.[3] and they had 11 children together:

Cinthia Elizabeth (1867–1958), married William Watson
Henrietta "Nettie" (1867–1903)
May (1870–1909)
Alice (1872–1965), married John H. Wood
Millie (1874–)
Francis (1876–)

Jesse Mancellous (1882–1902)
She died on December 6, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas,[4] at the age of 99, and was buried in Dripping Springs, Texas.[5]
