Research notes

  • The FamilySearch Research Wiki for Wayne County, Tennessee, states that due to a 1973 fire, Wayne County lost marriage records for 1817-1856 and probate records for 1817-1847. This was a crucial date range in Diana's life, covering the marriage to her first husband and his death.
