Biography
Burial Unity Cemetery Hurley, Cherokee County, Alabama, USA
Memorial ID 106713754
Nancy Walker was thought to be the daughter of John Walker of Goochland Virginia.
John Walker's 1794 will calls his daughter Nancy Owl, and names son-in-law Richard Owl as one of two executors.[1] This suggests that Nancy married Richard Owl prior to her marriage to Jacob Coffman (if the two women were indeed the same person).
As Nancy Walker (not Nancy Owl), she married Jacob Coffman in Jefferson County Tennessee on November 14, 1799 at the home of James Walker, possibly her brother.[citation needed]
She died in 1860 and might be buried at Unity Cemetery in Hurley, Cherokee Co., Alabama.[2]
