"United States Census, 1930," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XMLN-GBY : accessed 15 March 2018), Charls H Walker, Texas, Lee, Arkansas, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) ED 23, sheet 1B, line 53, family 17, NARA microfilm publication T626 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 2002), roll 81; FHL microfilm 2,339,816.
Charles disappeared sometime in the early 1930's from Lee County, AR, never to be heard from again.
We have found no evidence that he and Bertie Garrison were legally wed.
I am his great granddaughter, and I spoke with a descendant of his first family, with Anna Rosalee Allen. He abandoned their family and he was never spoken of. They had no idea he had a second family with Bertie Garrison.
