Aaron Thibeaux "T-Bone" Walker was an American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who was a pioneer and innovator of the jump blues and electric blues sound.

Aaron was only son of Rance and Movelia (Jamison or Jimerson) Walker. His mother wanted a better future for him and moved to Dallas, where he attended Norman Washington Harllee School through the seventh grade.

Family friends included Blind Lemon Jefferson and Huddie Ledbetter, and Aaron was recruited to lead Jefferson around the Central Avenue area of Dallas.

Also known as "Oak Cliff T-Bone", after the Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas.

He was posthumously inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1987
