Biography

Following the death of her mother, Minnie Mary Walker, in 1917, Mary, her brothers, William Grant Walker and Burt Eaton Walker, were sent to live with relatives. In 1920 Mary and Burt were living With John E. and Mildred B. Hunter in Minnesota, while William was living with Arnolphus and Agnes Gordon in Minnesota. In each census from which this information was taken they were listed as a niece or nephew of the people mentioned. In 1930 U.S. Census Harry W. Walker, his daughter, Mary and son Burt are living in the household of John E. and Mildred B. Hunter in Stephens, Minnesota. In 1940 both Burt and Mary are living again with their father, William Harry Walker, husband of Minnie Mary Walker.

William Harry Walker, Mary Agnes Walker's father, is buried in 2nd Addition, Block 505, Lot 5, Grave #1 in Grand Forks Memorial Park in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Her mother, Minnie Mary Walke, is buried alongside him in grave #2 and Mary Agnes Walker is buried in grave #3. These three grave sites were purchased by Burt Eaton Walker, William Harry and Minnie Mary Walkers' son.

On 08 Jan 2019, Chuck McLaughlin (2367) received a photo taken in Nov, 1913 of Mary Agnes Walker, Burt Eaton Walker and William Grant Walker, children of William Harry Walker and Minnie Mary Walker. The photo states Mary Agnes Walker as 4yrs. & 3 mos. old; Burt Eaton Walker as 2 yrs. and 2 mos. old; and William Grant Walker as 9 yrs. and 3 mos. old.
