Edit 9/1/2018: See reference information below. The Parents of Isham Walker-6742 have NOT been confirmed and my belief is that his parents should NOT be shown as Jacob Walker and Courtney Tucker. Walker-6742 should be disconnected from those parent profiles.
Huxford's also states that Isham went to Georgia during the Revolution and lived a few years in Liberty County and then moved to Glynn County in the 1790's.
August 1801 a land warrant was issued to Isham Walker for survey of 150 acres of land located on Guardeye Branch, Glynn County, GA.
July 31, 1802 Isham Walker filed a claim in Glynn County, GA court for two horses stolen by the Creek Indians. The horse taken in 1791 was valued at $60. and the other horse taken in 1802 was valued at $100. Berry Walker who swore on his oath that the horse was worth $60 dollars when taken. (Note Berry Walker only mentioned one horse). Wm. O'Neil signed as J.P.
In 1805 he is shown living in Glynn County and was a registrant in the Georgia land lottery. Isham is shown on the 1809 Tax Digest of Camden County along with his son Isham, Jr. He is listed as agent for Andrew, Isham, and Isabella Johnston, minor children of his daughter Mary and her husband John Johnston, who died in 1807. His daughter Mary Johnston re-married Stephen Browning in 1809 and they eventually moved to Gadsden County, FL where they both died.
Isham died circa 1813 before his wife Mary who died testate in Wayne county in 1818.
Birth update: 144034251-Memorial ID-with Biography stating his parents were Joel Walker and Sarah Mosely of Henrico Co. Virginia, with him most likely being born in Virginia instead of South Carolina. [4]
