Biography
Ann (Walker) Sweeton was baptised on November 11, 1838 in Bury, Lancashire, England.[citation needed] Her parents were William Walker (1811 - 1866) and Hannah (Barratt) Walker (1810 - ).[1]

In 1881 (aged ~42), She was living at 38 Gigg in Bury with her husband, Robert Sweeton (45); her children, William H. (19), Rachel (17), Robert E. (9), Frank (5), Fred, and Anne (3); and John Spoor (18).[7]
In 1891 (aged ~52), Ann was living in Bury with her husband, Robert Sweeton (56); her son, William H (29), and his family: wife, Sarah A (26); and children, Eleanor Sweeton (6), Ernest Sweeton (5), Harold W Sweeton (3), Agnes Sweeton (10/12); and Ann's other children, Robert E (20), Frank (16), and Annie (13); and a 'nephew' of Robert, Harry Evans (3).[8]
Ann died in 1898 in Bury aged ~59.[9]
