Caroline Walker was born on 26 February 1826. She married Stephen W. Freeman. They had eight children:

- 3. C. Elizabeth, born 24 Jan 1853; married Frank Johnson
- 4. Charles, born 21 May 1855

- 7. Annie, born 26 Apr 1861; married Frank D. Guptill
- 8. Alice, died young
Caroline passed away in 1865 and is buried in Smith Anderson Cemetery in Windham, Maine.
