• Alexander Walker was born in 1886 at Caddy, County Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of Mary Rachel Walker and an unknown father.^[1]
• In the 1901 Ireland census, Alexander Walker was age 15, living at Caddy, Co. Antrim in the household of his uncle Robert Samuel Walker (44), a farmer, his wife Martha Walker (41) and their nine children, Minnie, Lizzie, Matilda, Samuel J, John, Charlotte, Sarah Agnes, Nathan and Robert. Also Alexander's mother Mary R Walker (42), aunt Charlotte Walker (39) and grandmother Mary Walker (72).^[2]
