Biography

James was born abt 1696. He passed away in 1753. While not completely verified, there are many reasons to believe that James Walker was part of YDNA Group 5[2].

It appears that some of his descendants migrated to Sugar Creek, North Carolina[3] in the 1760's. How these descendants fit into the greater tree is still not precisely known.

Walker, James, August 28th, 1752, May 1, 1753, Exec. Archibald Walker and Andrew Roan. Derry. Wife Margaret Walker. Children: James, Agness, Archibald, Sarah Carothers and Mary + Andrew Roan. Grandchildren: James Carothers
