Adeline was born in 1830. US Civil War nurse. She died 28 April 1865 of typhus contracted during the course of her duties at the Naval School Hospital at Annapolis, Maryland eleven days before the end of the war. Miss Walker was laid to rest with her family in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Maine.
