February 1819 court minutes identify Eaton Walker as a tavern keeper.

April 24, 1821...Eaton Walker, deceased. Elias Benson, Adm’r. Securities: Charles Coleman, Gabriel Benson.

And possibly the same date...Appraisal of estate of Col. Eaton Walker. Note given by John Walker. [I assume that this John is Eaton’s brother.]

I have seen information, which I have been unable to document, which says that Eaton drowned after falling from his horse while crossing a river when returning home after some military action.

September 5, 1825,…Petition of Nancy Walker, widow of Eaton Walker, deceased, for allowance to maintain and raise the children and heirs of said estate, to wit: Gabriel Walker, Heneretta Walker, Elias Walker, Rebecca Walker. Distribution as follows; to Nancy Walker, Joseph Walker, Alexander Walker, David F. Walton and wife Elizabeth, formerly Elizabeth Walker and Gabriel Walker.
