Josephine Marion Beatrice (Wallace) Beacall was born in 1904 in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia. Her parents were Henry Albert Wallace (~1873 - 1948) and Matilda Gertrude Ellen (Bone) Wallace (~1882 - 1956).^[1]

Her brother was Henry Clifton Wallace (1903 - ).

In 1928, Josephine was living in Fitzroy North, Batman, Victoria, working as a box maker. ^[2]

Josephine married David Alexander Turner (~1890 - ) on July 6, 1929 in Fairfield. They divorced in 1940.^[3]

Their son was Donald Alexander (Turner) Beacall (1930 - 2019).
