Ethel married James Edmund Miller in Westbourne Park, South Australia on 25 September 1901.^[2] The following marriage notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Advertiser, on 26 September 1901: ^[3]

MILLER—WALLACE.—On the 25th September, by the Rev. F. W. Cox, at the residence of the bride's father, Westbourne Park, James E. Miller, son of T. A. Miller, of Cottonville, to Ethel Victoria, third daughter of John Wallace

Ethel died in Myrtle Bank, South Australia on 5 July 1964 at the age of 83 years.^[4]

Ethel was buried at the Mitcham Anglican Cemetery in Mitcham, South Australia on 6 July 1964.^[5][6]
