William Wallace was born about 1724. [1]

William Wallace married Ann Holton (Houlton). [1] Marriage date not sourced and estimate of 1750 is based upon date of birth of first child.

William Wallace and family are described as Chapter 4, William Wallace, of book, "Six Wallace Brothers."[1]

On 12 April, 1755, William Wallace signed his will. His wife, Ann, made her mark "X." The witnesses were his brother Aaron Wallace and Margry and Francis Houlton.[1]

The will was probated 26 January, 1756. In his will William stated that he was a yeoman in Chanceford Twp., York County. To his wife, Ann, he left one-third of his land, the house "she now lives in," bed, household goods, the gray mare and his saddle. After her death, the land goes to son Joseph. If Joseph should die before age 21, the land shall go to Mary, beloved daughter He also bequeathed 2 pounds and Ten shillings to each his father and mother. To John Wallace, brother, he bequeathed his wisted coat. The executors were Ann Wallace, his wife, and Moses Wallace. [2] [1] [3]

Thus, from the will we learn that his parents were alive on 12 Apr 1755. [1]
