Acknowledgments

Slaughter/Whitson/Bond/Harrison family histories, probably coming down from Bettie Prouty Harrison, say that Mary Wallace Williams remarried, in 1782, to Robert Henry Harrison (c. 1735-1826). She had two more children with him: one baby boy who died, and Jesse J. Harrison (1791-1860). Mary was Robert Henry's second wife. He had several children with his first wife, MN Johnson. R.H. and Mary's son Jesse J. was also married twice, first to Mary Wilson, then to Margaret Almira Hulsey. He had 2 children with Wilson, then he and Margaret had several more. One of those children was Bettie Prouty Harrison b, 1741 who married Robert Toncray Bond. My family is descended from R.H. through Jesse J. and then Bettie. We have very little information about Robert Henry's other children, first wife, or his birth family. I hope somebody else has or can find something that is documented by good sources. If this is all true, Wallace-21140 and Wallace-515 should be merged. Robert Henry Harrison is Harrison-

William and Hannah have not been found in NC and no daughter named Mary appears in his will dated 15 Jun 1766 Albemarle Co VA . If Mary married James Williams in 1762 Granville Co NC, her family was likley living nearby. A young woman had no means of support nor would she wonder off from her family in the 1700's

Wallace-8626 and Wallace-515 appear to represent the same person because: It appears that Wallace-8626 was created with generic dates as this profile has the same birth and death dates as other duplicate child entries.
Wallace-4407 and Wallace-515 appear to represent the same person because: These two Mary Wallace profiles have the same birth year, the same husband, etc. It is possible that the two profile managers may not be fully aware of the significance of the Williams family to our struggle for independence.

If either of the profile managers or both would be willing to place me on the trusted list for Mary Wallace I would be glad to complete the merge and perform the necessary cleanup after the merge is done. You would just need to let me know.
