  • This person was created through the import of Spurlock 20110318.ged on 19 March 2011.

Research Notes

  • Updated the death date to before 1870 because an additional child, Iona Wallen was born in 1867.
  • In the 1870 census, John's wife, Mary and John's brother, Elisha are enumerated in the same household in Shannon County, Missouri. Through extensive research of John's and Elisha's children's census records, death certificates and obituaries, it has been determined that the children in the 1870 census belonging to Elisha are Nelson, Katy, Anna, Alexander, and Edward. The children belonging to Mary are, Leroy B., Abraham [Absolam], Adaline, Elisabeth, Jane and Jonah [Iona].
