Walter Waller, eldest son of William Waller of Groombridge in Kent and his wife, Elizabeth Hendley, [1] was born in 1544.[2] He studied at Gray's Inn in 1561. [2]
By 1564 he as married to Anne Choute, daughter of Philip Choute [1] of Bethersden. [2]They were parents of 2 sons and a daughter. [2] Walter was knighted in 1572. [3]
After Anne's death he married Mary Hardres, daughter of Richard Hardres but they had no children. [2]
In 1593 he was returned to Parliament as member for Steyning. [2]
Walter died intestate 7 July 1599, and was buried in Speldhurst church.[2]
