Biography
Thomas Boswell of Warmsworth was married twice. lst June, daughter of Michael Cressy of Hohne. 2nd Alice, daughter of Thomas Vicars of Scarsby, Yorks. Thomas was married in his Uncle Jasper's Well of Stainton. By his first wife, there were two sons and one daughter. Thomas was buried at Connisbro, July 1596, his will no. 338 is dated at York 1596. 1St son, Gervase, his heir was born 1569, died 1621, was buried at Connisbro. He married Susan, daughter and coheiress of Thomas Wormersley of Cusworth near Doncaster, Yorks, by Thomasine, his wife, daughter of Nicholas Waller of Silkhouse. She was buried at Connisbro, Dec 1652. By her he had a large family (see next page). She had married 2ndly Thomas Vincent of Barnboro.
