This John N Wallis has no documentation as who his parents are except for his statement on the application for a Rev War Pension that his birthday is recorded in the family bible. He states he was born in Phippsburg that part which is now Georgetown. See NEHGR for the Wallis family. Samuel and Sarah had NO son named John. Only a son Samuel. Also Samuel and Sarah never came to Maine. They lived and died in MA.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
John N Wallis has no documented parents. No evidence of Samuel being his father. The only manuscript available with Samuel Wallis and his family show NO son named John. This entry for John N having Samuel and Sarah is NOT correct.
I wouldn't completely discard the idea. Build a complete tree for this family and you will find that sort of thing happened a lot within this particular family line in Phippsburg. Many cases where a related couple would alternate Wallis/Wallace spellings to suit when married.
Wallace-4100 and Wallace-3706 appear to represent the same person because: same birth date, wife and son's name, without sources, only thing to do is merge
