Biography

Charles Henry Wallis was born on 5 November 1872 in Queensland, Australia. He was the son of Charles Wallis and Sarah Lax.[1]

Known as Bob; his mother known on some records as Elsie Charlotte Savage.

He married Elsie Savage in 1905 in Brisbane, Queensland.[2]

Occupied 1903 to 1922 as a blacksmith, striker, boilermaker and blacksmith then 1934 to 1941 ironworker or iron worker's assistant. No occupation listed in 1949

They had two known children named:-Charles Leslie Wallis and Muriel Emma Wallis.

He passed away on 7 October 1959 in Brisbane.[3]
