I was born in Poplar Bluff, MO. I have two older brothers and two younger sisters. I attended grade school at Eugenefield in south Poplar Bluff and and graduated in 1969 from Poplar Bluff Sr High. I joined the USMC 24 March 1969 had a swimming 8 July 1969 that broke my neck leaving me a quadriplegic, I was discharged from the USMC 8 August 1969. Spent eight months at the Jewish Hospital in St Louis. Went to work for the Poplar Bluff Police Dept. as a dispatcher September 1975, Got married to Gwen Jones 1 September 1979. I accepted Jesus as my Savior spring 1980. I was the Communications Chief when I retired from the Police Dept 2 January 2012.
Gwen and I went on a ten day African Safari in South Africa September 2012
I enjoy Photography, Hunting, Fishing just being outdoors.
On 1 September this year 2019 Gwen and I will celebrate our 40 anniversary.
