Katherine Maud was born about 1872. She was the daughter of Percy Wallis and Mary Adams. She passed away after 1912.

- A wedding notice from an unidentified newspaper clipping in Herbert's diary reads; "Marwood-Wallis - On January 23rd, at St. Mary's Church, Derby, by the Right Reverend Monsignor McKenna, Edward Marwood, of Mossley Hill, Liverpool, to Katherine Maud Wallis, eldest daughter of the late Percy Wallis and of Mrs. Wallis, St. Chad's Road, Derby."
