I'm rearranging all the Wallis / Wallace families of New Hampshire based on actual probate records. For the first three generations you can ignore most of the genealogy in the old histories. Most of it is wrong.
Place: Little Harbor, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States[1]
George Wallis was born about 1619 and died 14 December 1685 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He married say 1647 Eleanor (---) who died after July 1690. He is first seen at Rumney Marsh (Chelsea) Massachusetts owning land there by deed of Nov. 6, 1660 (NH Deeds Vol. II, page 45A) George Wallace, "sometime of Newfoundland." He was petit juror in 1665 and 71.
He is not the son of Roger or Ralph Wallis as is seen so often on the Internet. His origins are unknown.
George had six children that we know of:
1) William c 1648 – 1741 m Jane Drake
2) Eleanor c 1652 – 1712 m James Berry
3) George c 1650 – 1726 m Ann Shortridge
4) Margaret c 1660 – m Walter Randall
5) Honor 1661 – 1722 m James Allard
6) Caleb c 1646 – 1714
He died before 2 Jan 1685 when administration of his estate was granted to his widow, Eleanor. (NH Probate records, Vol. 1, page 291). March 13, 1785-6 (NH Deeds vol iv, page 43a) a deed was signed by "us the children" of George Wallace, dividing his real estate. The children named are: William, George and Honor, who sign "with the consent of Caleb, our youngest brother." It was also signed by Walter Randall and James Berry for their wives, who were daughters. It was agreed that the farm should be equally divided between William and George. It was known as the "Wallace Farm" and was at Wallace Sands, Rye, NH. I find no other mention of any Caleb Wallace in deeds, probate records or provincial papers.

Wallis-432 and Wallace-6610 appear to represent the same person because: I'm rearranging all the Wallis / Wallace families of New Hampshire based on actual probate records. For the first three generations you can ignore most of the genealogy in the old histories. Most of it is wrong.

I'm wondering if you would consider merging your profile. The original name of George the father was Wallace. Only the children used Wallis.
I went ahead and moved his daughter over. If that is not alright let me know and I will create a new profile for her on George.
The death date is given as 14 Dec 1685 in New Hampshire Provincial and State Papers, v 31, p 295

I'm wondering if you would mind merging him into a master profile for the whole family.
According to probate records only George the father used Wallace and the children all used Wallis.
