William Walls was born about 1801. He was the father of Civil War soldier Albert Walls who served with the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom of all.
Said to have been literate, William served as one of Hosanna's preachers and owned a ten-acre farm in Lower Oxford.[1]
