Elizabeth was born about 1843 in Laxton, Yorkshire, England, where she lived with her parents, Edward Jonathan Walls and Elizabeth Giliard, in 1861.[1]
In 1880 Elizabeth married Marshall Jibson in Welton, Yorkshire.[2][3] In 1881 the couple lived in Eastrington with Elizabeth's mother, Elizabeth. Marshall farmed six acres.[4] He was a cowkeeper in 1891[5] and a farmer in Gilberdyke, Yorkshire, in 1901.[6]
