Biography

Ila was born in 1908, the 5th of 6 children to Lummie W Walls and Mary Alberta Musselwhite. Her siblings were: Benjamin Jackson Infant Boy, Theodore Blackshear, Oscar Lee, and Grover C; her half-siblings were: Robert Daniel, Retta Jane, Rudolph Jefferson, Loran William, Elve Marvin, Edgar Bennett, Mary Ethel, Leona, Charlie Delmar, Samuel Davis, Ruby, Gladys, Carrol Devon, and Henry Vernon.
