Biography

"Barbara, wife of Christian Gnagey, died May 6, 1836, and is buried on the home farm. Christian m., as his second wife, Caroline Walter, Nov. 5, 1843. She was born Feb. 21, 1806. Christian was a member of the Dunkard church at his death. He died June 11, 18S0, aged 80 years, 11 months and 26 days.
Caroline, wife of Christian Gnagey, died July 27, 1892, aged 86 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was a member of the Dunkard church. Both are buried on the farm now owned by Joel Gnagey. Address, Meyersdale, Somerset Co., Pa."[1]
