Biography

John Thomas Walter was a son of John Thomas Walter, Jr. and Mary Ann Rowzie. He was born in 1823 in Linden, Virginia. In 1847 he married Margaret Abigail Haines. They had fifteen children. Before 1880, John opened "Warrenton House" in Warrenton, Virginia. He died on 30 September 1901 in Linden, Virginia and was interred in the cemetery there.
