In the 1841 census William (age 55) was living in Castle Hill, Rotherfield, with his wife Elizabeth and their daughters Charlotte and Eliza .[3].
In the 1861 census William (age 85), Farmer Of 15 Acres, was living with his wife and granddaughter in Uckfield, Sussex, England.[4]
