The Church records say Sarah Walters married Thomas Hodsoll, but new research today of those records say at their marriage by Licence that Mr. Thomas Hodsoll married Sarah Walter.
Sarah was born in 1688. She passed away about 1740.

Thomas Hodsoll and Sarah Walter married at Rochester Cathedral on the 27 Jan 17i2 Source England marriages 1538-1973. The Church records have an attached note saying that Mr. Thomas Hodsell married by License to Mrs. Sarah Walters. That note has raised questions.
I have used as my primary information Ann Morey's book "Descendants of Robert Hodsoll", produced and circulated to relatives and fellow researchers 30 Mar 2008.

Sarah Walters was born in 1688 in Marden Kent, She and Thomas had the following children: 76 Hester Hodsell (1714-) 77 Sarah Hodsell (1715-) 78 Thomas Hodsoll (1716-) 79 Ann Hodsoll (1718-) Lin's note Family search.org gives record of Ann being born a decade later in 1728) - I will detail on Ann's Page. 80 Mary Hodsoll (1719- ) Mary was born in 1719 in Ash by Wrotham, All the children were born there.

The line from "notes" could also be the witnesses at the wedding, maybe parents.

Having reread all notes I think the " Notes, Mr Hodsoll and Mrs Walter " could be the parents as witnesses to the wedding
