Biography
In 1910, Carl was 3 years old and the family was living in Gaysport (Hollidaysburg), PA. His father Elmer was a laborer on the Railroad. By 1920, they had moved 30 miles away to East St. Clair Township, in Bedford County and Elmer now worked as farm labor. The family had grown to seven. Carl was 13 years old.
By 1940, Carl had married, to Elsie Smith. They had three children, all under 4 years old, and Carl's sister Mildred lived with them. Carl was 33 and
Carl Walter was 76 when he died.
Carl is buried in Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
