Caspar Henrich Walter was born on or a few days before 24 August 1756 in Buer, Amt Grönenberg, Prince-Nishopric of Osnabrück in the Holy Roman Empire, son of Caspar Herman Walters.[1] He was baptised on 24 August 1756 in the evangelical church in Buer, Melle.[1] His godfather was der Huntemüller (= likely the miller of the mill at the river Hunte) Johan Caspar Walter.[1]
Caspar Henrich Walter made a living as a wagon maker and tenant farmer. He married Maria Elisabeth Dieckmann in 1779 in Buer at the age of 22. Caspar died on 7 November 1807 in Buer from emphysema at the age of 52, while the village was under Prussian control.
Their known son was Johann Heinrich Walter (born 25 January 1791).
Caspar died on 7 November 1807 in Buer, aged 51.
