Biography

Edward was the second of seven children in the family of Jacob and Mary McCormick Walter.[1] By 1911, the family had moved to Wellington County[2]and Edward was farming with his father.

Edward married Margaret Baessler when he was 25.[3]They are the parents of five children. In 1919, Edward took over his father's farm.[4]

By 1921, Edward and Margaret had a son and a daughter.[5]

Edward died in the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital at age 85.[6] Edward is buried in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Cemetery, Elmira, Ontario.
