Eliza was born in 1800. She is the daughter of Thomas Walters and Mary Smith[1][2]and she was baptized at St. Giles the Abbot Church in Cheadle, Staffordshire. Eliza married Thomas Holmes on 25 Mar 1830 in Newcastle-under-Lyme : St Giles[3]
