Wife of Philip Fenstermacher. She lived with son John Fenstemaker's family later in life before passing in 1875; she was interred at Pine Grove Cemetery, Market Street, though no stone is known to exist.
Her maiden name is uncertain. An 1887 biographical sketch of grandson George Clarence Fenstemaker gives her name as Walters, though Clarence Eberman Beckel gives Yohe in his genealogical history of the Fenstermacher family here, seemingly based on baptismal sponsors. The former sketch gives her birthplace as Mifflinville. Henry Yohe, a mason of Mifflin Township in 1810, heads the only family with a girl of Catharine's age bracket in that township with either of these surnames, living with one male 0–9, one male 26–44, two females 0–9, and one female 16–25. More research is needed to tell if she is of this family.
