Florence Fanny M. Ellen WALTON, daughter of William George WALTON and Mary Matilda Jane BRADBURY, was born on 1 December 1906 in Narrandera (R/D), New South Wales, Australia, died on 19 December 1995 in New South Wales, Australia at age 89, and was buried in Lawn Cemetery, Darlington Point, New South Wales, Australia.

Florence married Ernest Robert Daley ("Ernie") CURPHEY, son of Edward Harry CURPHEY and Mary Ann VERDON, on 5 June 1925 in Presbyterian Church, Darlington Point, New South Wales, Australia.

Ernie was born on 25 September 1899 in Hay (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales, died on 3 August 1980 in New South Wales (R/D), Australia at age 80, and was buried in Lawn Cemetery, Darlington Point, New South Wales, Australia.

They had five children: Unnamed female, Joyce Mary, Alfred Edward ("Ted"), William J., and Neville Robert.

    LOCAL AND GENERAL.
    Kitchen Tea. - A kitchen tea was tendered to Miss Florence Walton on the eve of her marriage by her many friends at Darlington Point. The function took place in the Shire Hall, and dancing was indulged in until a late hour. Miss Walton received many useful and dainty gifts, and in responding on her behalf, Mr. A. J. McAlister thanked the company for their kindness. He joined the company in wishing Miss Walton and her future husband, Mr. Ernest Curphey, the best of luck, health and happiness.

    WEDDING. CURPHEY- WALTON.
    The church at Darlington Point was prettily decorated on June 5th for the wedding of Miss Florence F. Walton, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Walton, Darlington Point, and Mr. Ernest R. D. Curphey, youngest son of Mrs. M. A. Curphey, and the late Edward Curphey. Rev. Holden, of Griffith, officiated. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, wearing a dainty frock of ivory crepe de chene and satin, and tulle veil and wreath of orange blossomes.
    The bride carried a shower bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums, and wore the bridegroom's gift, a gold armlet. Miss Daisy Walton attended her sister, and wore a dainty frock of blue fuji and black hat. Her bouquet was of pale pink roses, and her gift from the bridegroom was a gold brooch. Mr. Herbert Walton was best man; Mrs. Woodman presided at the organ, and played the wedding march as the bride entered the church. The choir sang "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden" during the signing of the registrar. Mr. and Mrs. Walton entertained their relatives and friends at a wedding tea, and later at a dance in the Shire Hall.

    The marriage of Mr. Ernest Daly Curphey and Miss Florence Fanny Walton, of Darlington Point, took place in the Presbyterian Church, Darlington Point on Friday week. The Rev. J. Suton Oldham of Griffith, was the officiating minister. Mr. Herbert Walton, brother of the bride, was best man, and her sister bridesmaid.
