DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lois by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lois:

I'm so glad it helped, Kim. Since her parents are named in the register, you can use the same source on her father's profile. You can even link him to the image if you choose to.

Please do let me or your Greeters know if you have any questions about how WikiTree works, even if they seem minor. My rule of thumb when I started was to search for an answer for five minutes, then reach out to my Greeters, and then resume searching. I might have found the answer before they got back to me but they sometimes offered a different way of doing the same thing which was easier. We are always here to help.

See you in the branches,

Debi

Hi Kim,

Would this be Lois' birth record in a Grundy County, Illinois, Birth Register? I found it at FamilySearch using the Research tool:

If so, you can copy that paragraph and paste it under the Sources heading in the edit box on the profile.

I hope this helps!
